You can take all the training, but when it actually comes down to hands on, you learn how much you actually do not know.
I created a Team Site, added all the important components so we had a visual representation for the departments transitioning from an HTML/CSS based intranet to Sharepoint.
In this discovery I was snooping around Site Admin features and realized I turned something on called Manage content and structure. This was turned off at the enterprise level, but we were able to manage it.
If you do not have this feature, this is how you get there if you have the right permissions:
- Open the team site (sharepoint site).
- Site Actions > Manage Site Features
- Activate SharePoint Server Publishing
